How do you break down people's assumptions about the Bible being a book of random commandments and religious nonsense and help them see its historical claim about Jesus Christ?
You can do it using words alone but there is always a risk of verbosity and overwhelming people with what should be the most engaging and enticing story that could ever be told.
The visual aid (pictured above) for Biblical Turning Points assist teachers, pastors and individuals to teach the Bible using a visual point of reference for the information they are presenting.
Some schools have permanently put the visual aid on the wall of their Christian Studies classroom. Some churches display them to provoke discussion about the Bible’s story.
Do I need to use the visual aid if I want to run this course at my church?
The visual aid is used to help people grasp hold of the one story that is told through the 66 books of the Bible. It allows the presenter to visually demonstrate in a matter of moments what would take many hours to verbally explain.
While it is not essential to use the visual aid, it is highly recommended, as it is a distinguishing element of the course. It is also highly recommended that each participant get a copy of the small fold-out visual aid for their personal reference.
We have a number of options regarding purchasing the visual aid, which is available in different sizes and materials, and also the potential of hiring one for the duration of your course.
